Maximise your output with VersaWorks Dual RIP software

Roland VersaWorks Dual RIP software is included with your LEF-300 package. This powerful RIP minimises the need for design software, allowing the creation of special colour layers like White, Clear and Primer from artwork directly in the RIP software.

Quickly and easily preview and process complex files with transparencies, layers and other special effects. Rotate, set spacing and maintain clipped position within the RIP to give you more control when printing graphics and applying effects.

Deliver outstanding results with ECO-UV ink

ECO-UV ink is offered in CMYK, White and Clear options. It instantly driesto deliver a wide colour gamut, sharp detail and rich colour density. ECO-UV needs no degassing and conforms around curves and irregular surfaces.

ECO-UV inks are extremely durable for both outdoor^^ and indoor use. ECO-UV ink is safe after curing, and is supplied in “clean-hands” 220cc or more economical 500cc cartridges.^^^

Energy efficient and ozone free

The VersaUV LEF range plugs into a standard electrical outlet. Using a fraction of the power that other flatbed printers demand, the LEF-300 offers significant savings on electrical costs per year.

The LEF-300 uses a long-life UV-LED curing lamp that can be instantly switched on or off, to give the user true on-demand production with no warm-up time required. By providing a light source that is entirely ozone free and emitting light in the range known as Near-UV of the UV spectrum, the LEF-300 offers a safe alternative to conventional UV lamps.

In addition, the LEF automatically enters a low-power mode when it is not used for an extended period of time.

Now featuring an on-board primer ink option

The LEF-300 now features an on-board Primer ink option so you can quickly and conveniently image onto glass, shiny surfaces and more*. Users can easily and precisely prep an object for customisation – printing Primer ink directly from a file in the VersaWorks Dual RIP before printing the full-colour graphic. This makes adding graphics to challenging materials much cleaner and more efficient.

Optimise your workflow with a host of productivity features

The VersaUV LEF-300 has a large capacity print area of 770mm wide by 330mm long. Four printheads and two UV-LED lamps enable fast bi-directional printing on items up to 100mm in height and 8kg in weight.

White and Clear (gloss) inks are delivered through two channels each for even faster printing.^

For production site customers, the LEF-300 includes input/output connections that support external devices such as warning lights and automated jig replacement.

Cover protects print and encases moving parts

The VersaUV LEF-300 is safe to use in any busy print shop, industrial or retail environment. It features a protective cover to safeguard users from moving parts and to prevent dust from entering the print area, while keeping the UV-LED light contained. Ink cartridges are located on the side of the device to allow replacement during operation without the need to open the cover.

Unmatched print quality

With Roland Intelligent Pass Control, you get outstanding image qualityacross a wide variety of applications and media, in all print modes while eliminating virtually any signs of banding. Roland’s Automated Ink Circulation System helps produce consistently brilliant image quality even on long print runs. Controlled ink circulation prevents the ink pigments from settling in the ink lines, creating a smooth consistency and density for outstanding output all the time.

Optional air filtration system

An optional air filtration system is available for the VersaUV LEF-300. This includes an activated carbon filter, ink storage facility and automatic on/off functionality. This unit can be placed easily underneath the LEF-300, and act as a stand and storage unit for jigs, fixtures and supplies.

Laser alignment system

The built-in laser alignment system allows quick set-up of the LEF to print on different media. It represents the easiest and most effective way to uniformly print images on multiple substrate targets. Whether using it as a two-point reference to determine flat substrates or a centre origin point of reference to print on curved or odd shaped items, the LEF’s laser alignment is an incredibly sophisticated and useful feature.
