ADR installs only the best drives available in the Premium Whirlwind copy tower series. Today these are the LITEON PREMIUM burners model LO-DH-16AFSH-Premm-2-T.  These drives were especially developed with much higher electrical and mechanical component quality, like spin-up motors, the pick-up heads, belts, heat sinks and SATA connectors, compared to standard IT drives. Optimized firmware and a special burning strategy improves the media compatibility. ADR grants a 24 month (ex works, alternativley up to 5.000 burned discs, whatever comes first) warranty for these drives.
